Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi Announce Divorce

Country star Zac Brown and his second wife, Kelly Yazdi, have officially announced their split just four months after their marriage. In a joint statement given to Page Six, the couple confirmed that they are in the process of getting a divorce. Despite their decision to part ways, they expressed their mutual respect for each other and wished each other the best. Brown and Yazdi emphasized the importance of privacy as they navigate this personal matter.

Zac Brown, the lead singer of the Zac Brown Band, married Kelly Yazdi in Georgia, his home state, in late August. Although the couple kept their wedding low-key, Yazdi did make a notable change by adding “Brown” to her social media handle. However, this has since been removed. According to her website, Yazdi is a born adventurer, events producer, SAG-AFTRA actress, stuntwoman, and professional model. Her acting credits include popular shows like “Hawaii Five-0” and movies like “The Martial Arts Kid” and “The Beautiful Ones”.

The couple reportedly got engaged last year during a private and intimate moment while on vacation in Hawaii. The proposal was kept under wraps, and not much information is available about the length of their dating period or when they decided to get engaged. However, in July 2022, Yazdi was seen wearing a diamond ring on her finger while on tour with the band, sparking speculation about their engagement.

Past Relationships

Before marrying Yazdi, Zac Brown was previously married to jewelry designer Shelly Brown. The former couple was together for 12 years and shares five children. However, in October 2018, they announced their divorce.

The announcement of Zac Brown and Kelly Yazdi’s split comes as a surprise to fans who had supported their relationship. As they undergo the process of divorce, the couple’s plea for privacy reflects their desire to handle this personal matter discreetly. While details about the reason for their separation remain undisclosed, it is clear that both Brown and Yazdi have a mutual respect and appreciation for each other. As individuals, they will now navigate their separate paths with the best wishes from their fans and supporters.
