New York City’s art dealer Vito Schnabel, at 37 years old, has surprised many by tying the knot with 21-year-old Russian model Helena Althof in a very intimate ceremony in Old Westbury, NY. It was a small and private affair, with only a select group of guests in attendance. The guests were given Mickey and Minnie Mouse themed invitations just a week before the wedding, creating a childlike and fun atmosphere. Despite the short notice, the couple managed to gather their closest friends and family to witness their union.
Following the ceremony, the wedding reception took place at the Richard Meier-designed mansion owned by Schnabel. Althof’s Instagram page has showcased the extravagant offerings at the reception, including sushi, caviar, and a stunning devil-red wedding cake. Schnabel and Althof first met in Saudi Arabia while sailing on the yacht of mogul James Packer. Despite their age difference, the couple hit it off and have now taken the plunge into marriage. With Althof being only 19 at the time, their relationship has blossomed into something truly special.
