The Magical Family Trips of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have continued the tradition of family ski trips that Harry experienced from a very young age. Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have already enjoyed their first ski trip earlier this year. This tradition harks back to Harry’s childhood when he and his brother, Prince William, used to hit the slopes with their parents, Princess Diana and King Charles, from the tender age of six.

In February, the Sussexes, along with Meghan’s close friends Heather Dorak and Kelly McKee Zajfen, headed to Powder Mountain Ski Resort for a family trip. The Duchess was seen posing for a picture with her friends mid-ski, against the backdrop of the vast mountain skyline. The holiday snap captured the trio looking incredibly glamorous, with Meghan sporting a cosy black puffer jacket and a matching woolly hat from the chic brand Aritzia, along with her stylish Blenders sunglasses.

The Sussexes have also enjoyed holidays with Heather and her family on multiple occasions. In July 2022, they celebrated July 4 together in Jackson Hole Valley in Wyoming. The Duke and Duchess were pictured enjoying the parade with their children, with Archie waving an American flag. Before their ski trip in February, the family embarked on a pre-Christmas holiday to Costa Rica, where Meghan was photographed holding her daughter Lilibet, who was dressed in a white dress, while Meghan looked stunning in a sleek black dress and sunhat.

Before the arrival of Princess Lilibet, Archie and his parents celebrated his first Christmas in Canada in 2019. The family enjoyed hiking in Horth Hill Regional Park on Vancouver Island, capturing the milestone occasion with an adorable black-and-white photo of Archie staring at the camera. Meghan expressed their gratitude for the warmth of the people in Canada and the beauty of the country, emphasizing the significance of the trip for them.

Archie’s first travels with his parents date back to September 2019 when the then-four-month-old joined them on their royal tour of South Africa. During the trip, Harry and Meghan couldn’t help but gush about what a good traveller Archie was, highlighting how he slept on Harry’s chest for almost 11 hours during the flight. The couple appreciated the smooth transition into parenthood and traveling with Archie, indicating his easygoing nature as a baby.

Overall, the family trips undertaken by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reflect their commitment to creating magical and memorable experiences for their children. From skiing adventures to exotic holidays, the Sussexes prioritize quality time spent together, surrounded by loved ones and beautiful destinations. As they continue to embark on new adventures and create lasting memories, the Sussex family remains a shining example of balancing royal duties with cherished family time.
