In a video posted on Wednesday, the 32-year-old discussed the challenges of applying makeup while her nose was still healing. She explained that the post-surgery process has been a learning experience for her, as she had to research on social media to understand what to expect.
Blanchard revealed that she was surprised to learn that it takes a full year to see the final results of a nose job. She emphasized that the nose goes through different stages of swelling, sometimes looking great and other times appearing swollen. Despite still experiencing slight swelling, she expressed satisfaction with the results, sharing before and after photos of her nose.
Post-Surgery Challenges
The former criminal admitted to dealing with discomfort after the surgery, including internal packing and difficulty breathing. She also shared a humorous yet gross detail about dealing with itching internal stitches and excessive boogers. Even after more than a month since the surgery, she still relies on Tylenol to manage the pain.
A New Perspective
Despite the challenges of the recovery process, Blanchard affirmed that she does not plan to undergo more plastic surgeries in the future. She expressed contentment with her current appearance and highlighted her womanly figure, curves, and breasts. She emphasized self-acceptance and stated that she is proud of her body as it is.
After her release from prison in December 2022 for the murder of her mother, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been on both a personal and physical transformation journey. Apart from her nose job, she recently underwent a procedure to replace her silver teeth with new white caps and dyed her hair from brunette to blond.
