The Real Anna Delvey: From Scam Artist to PR Exec

Anna Delvey, also known as the “Fake Heiress,” has transitioned from being a notorious scam artist to a legitimate PR executive in Manhattan. After serving time in prison and being under house arrest, Delvey is now free to navigate the streets of NYC. This marks a significant change in her reputation, as she is now focused on building a media empire rather than conning unsuspecting businesses.

Delvey’s transformation has led her to work as a fully accredited member of the US workforce, just in time to participate in New York Fashion Week. She recently established a “pop-up” PR agency with industry veteran Kelly Cutrone, solidifying her position in the fashion industry. With a new Social Security number in hand, she can now legally work and operate her business, OutLaw, alongside Cutrone’s firm, People’s Revolution.

Although Delvey is still technically under house arrest, she is now permitted to move within a 75-mile radius of her home. Her fraudulent activities, which included posing as a German aristocrat to swindle luxury hotels out of thousands of dollars, landed her in prison for two years. Following her release, she was in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody before being placed on house arrest. Delvey’s story has also inspired the Netflix series “Inventing Anna,” showcasing her infamous con artist persona.

OutLaw and People’s Revolution are joining forces to produce shows for various clients at the Altman Building in Chelsea during fashion week. Sponsored by Pornhub, the event will feature runway shows for designers such as Private Policy, Untitled&Co., and Shao New York. Delvey’s involvement in Shao’s show last year on her rooftop marked the beginning of OutLaw’s successful ventures in the fashion industry.

In addition to her newfound freedom to work and operate her business legally, Delvey has also been granted permission to return to social media after a previous ban. This signifies a fresh start for Delvey, as she continues to rebuild her reputation and establish herself as a legitimate professional in the PR and fashion world.

Anna Delvey’s journey from a fraudulent scam artist to a respected PR executive showcases the transformative power of second chances. With her legal issues behind her, Delvey is now focused on building a successful media empire and making a name for herself in the competitive fashion industry. Her story serves as a reminder that redemption is possible, even in the most unlikely of circumstances.
