Recently, four concertgoers have filed a lawsuit against Chris Brown and Live Nation, claiming that they were brutally beaten by the singer and his associates after a performance. According to the lawsuit filed in Harris County, Texas, Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell allege that Brown and his group of acquaintances not only threw chairs but also proceeded to kick and stomp on them. The incident took place after the concert at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth during Brown’s ongoing “11:11” tour. The plaintiffs suggest that Brown was directly involved in the violence, and Live Nation, along with Brown’s associates Sinko Ceej, Hood Boss, and Yella Beezy, are also named as defendants in the lawsuit.
The four concertgoers allege that before the altercation, Brown’s entourage reminded the singer of a past issue with one of the plaintiffs. Brown reportedly responded with aggression, leading to a physical confrontation in which the plaintiffs were assaulted. One of the plaintiffs, Parker, claims to have been cornered in a staircase and endured a 10-minute assault of punches and kicks. As a result, all four plaintiffs are receiving medical treatment and are expected to require further care in the future. The lawsuit also accuses Live Nation of failing to ensure the safety of concert attendees at the event.
In response to the incident, the plaintiffs are seeking a temporary restraining order against Chris Brown, as well as $50 million in damages. Despite the serious allegations, Brown’s representatives and Live Nation have yet to make a public statement regarding the lawsuit. The lawsuit comes at a critical time in Brown’s tour, as he is scheduled to perform on the West Coast before concluding in Los Angeles on August 6th. However, this is not the first time Chris Brown has faced controversy related to his behavior during performances.
