Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: A Unique Wedding Celebration

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in a unique and intimate ceremony. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple managed to exchange vows in a socially-distanced ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

Unlike traditional royal weddings, Beatrice and Edoardo’s nuptials were attended by fewer than 20 guests, including close family members such as the late Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the couple’s parents, and siblings. The couple had originally planned to get married at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace in London in May 2020 but had to postpone the ceremony due to the pandemic.

Their wedding reception, which was held at Royal Lodge, was a modest and understated affair. Beatrice and Edoardo initially planned to celebrate their nuptials in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. However, due to the pandemic, they had to backtrack on their reception venue, opting for a more intimate celebration with close family members and friends.

Since their wedding, Beatrice and Edoardo have welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sienna. The couple has since relocated from London to the serene Cotswolds, where they enjoy a quieter life away from the spotlight. Their £3 million home is equipped with a swimming pool and tennis courts, providing the perfect setting for their growing family.

Apart from being a devoted mother to daughter Sienna, Beatrice is also a caring stepmother to Edoardo’s son Christopher, affectionately known as Wolfie. Beatrice has described Wolfie as her “bonus son” and has cherished the opportunity to form a close bond with him. During the challenging times of homeschooling amid the pandemic, Beatrice worked closely with Wolfie, showcasing her dedication to both her children.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s unconventional wedding celebration highlights their unique approach to marriage and family life. Despite the challenges they faced during the pandemic, the couple managed to create a special and memorable ceremony surrounded by their loved ones. Their growing family and strong bonds reflect their commitment to each other and their shared values.
