Sanya Richards-Ross, a former Olympic gold medalist, is venturing into a new business realm by launching a pajama/loungewear line in partnership with her husband Aaron Ross. This new line, known as the Coordinates collection, is designed to keep Team USA athletes comfortable and cozy during the 2024 and 2028 Olympic games in Paris.
Richards-Ross expressed her excitement in being able to provide their product to the athletes representing the Red, White, and Blue. In particular, she mentioned her hope to see big names such as LeBron James and Simone Biles donning their gear. The couple is eager to gift their loungewear to Team USA and is looking forward to seeing some of the most incredible athletes wearing it.
The inspiration for the Coordinates collection stemmed from Richards-Ross and Ross’s days at the University of Texas, where they used to coordinate their outfits. This shared interest in matching clothing eventually led to the creation of their brand last November, which proved to be a massive success as they sold out within a month of launching.
Despite the challenges that come with running a business together as a married couple, the Ross duo emphasized the importance of having a strong foundation and understanding each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Having tied the knot in 2010, they attribute their success in working together to their deep knowledge of each other and their ability to complement one another in both their personal and professional lives.
