Ariana Madix Files Lawsuit Against Ex-Boyfriend Tom Sandoval to Sell Shared Home

Reality TV star Ariana Madix has taken legal action against her ex-boyfriend and fellow “Vanderpump Rules” castmate Tom Sandoval. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Madix has filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court, seeking a court order for the sale of their shared Los Angeles home. The legal filing includes a request for a “partition by sale,” which would require the property to be sold. Madix has specifically stated that she wants to sell the house together with Sandoval and split the proceeds, rather than opting for a “division in kind” where they would each retain ownership of the house.

If the court were to grant a “division in kind,” Madix would be faced with the challenge of finding someone willing to co-own the home with Sandoval. This situation is less than ideal for Madix, as it would require her to find a potential buyer interested in co-ownership. By choosing to pursue a partition by sale, Madix is seeking a clean break from the property and a fair division of the proceeds.

During a December appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Madix expressed her desire to resolve the ownership issue swiftly. She even mentioned a specific real estate lawyer named Joel Weiner, suggesting that she had been trying to communicate with him regarding the matter.

Madix has made it clear that she wants to sell the shared home, while Sandoval opposes the idea. The divergent desires of the former couple have led to a legal dispute over the future of their property. This lawsuit marks a significant development in their ongoing personal and financial entanglements.

The lawsuit comes almost a year after Madix and the world learned about Sandoval’s months-long affair with their fellow castmate Raquel Leviss. The revelation led to the immediate breakup of Madix and Sandoval’s relationship, and the subsequent fallout was captured on “Vanderpump Rules” Season 10, earning the couple the infamous moniker “Scandoval” from fans. Sandoval and Leviss also parted ways in May of the same year.

While Sandoval has expressed regret and claimed to have fought for Leviss during their relationship, Madix has found solace in the arms of fitness coach Daniel Wai. As Madix seeks closure from her past and aims to sell the shared home, she also looks forward to a new chapter in her life with her new romantic interest.

Ariana Madix’s lawsuit against Tom Sandoval reflects the desire for a fresh start and equitable resolution following the disintegration of their relationship. The legal battle over the shared Los Angeles home will determine the future financial and emotional landscape for both parties involved. Only time will tell how the court will decide and whether a sale of the property will bring closure to this turbulent chapter in their lives.
