Remember that little story earlier about J.Lo finishing the Malibu Triathlon over the weekend? Remember that? Remember how you thought to yourself: J.Lo completed a triathlon . . . what the fuck? Oh hey, guess what:

Jennifer Lopez almost drowned while swimming through the Nautica Triathlon . . .The waves were to high for her as she started to submerge and was left missing for a couple of seconds until her trainer helped her out. When she reached enough depth where she could stand on her feet she gave a huge smile showing relief. (From: Splash News)

Not far removed from giving birth to twins, Jennifer Lopez made her way through the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, finishing in three and a half hours on Sunday morning (September 14).

Raising her arms in the air as a victory, J. Lo smiled as she crossed the finish line after swimming, biking and running. “Thank you guys so much. This is an astounding day,” she told event onlookers.

Now that she’s settled into her role as mommy for her twins Emme and Max, Jennifer Lopez has her sights set on a new goal - completing a triathlon.

The “Waiting for Tonight” songstress paid a visit to Good Morning America this morning (August 18) on location in Central Park, New York City to speak about her intense fitness regimen, with the hope of running her first triathlon by the end of 2008.
