No specific charities were specified in the document, so the California state Attorney General, who is in charge and regulates the state’s charitable foundations, has filed legal papers, most likely to ensure that the allotted funds actually go to charity.

Still no word as to who has been bequeathed the 50% share holdings at Sony/ATV music publishing catalogue, which controls many of the songs from the Beatles.

Rumer Willis is covering all her guest-starring bases.

The daughter of Bruce and Demi will portray a pregnant teenager on an August episode of The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Meanwhile, we’ve just received word that she’ll go in the opposite direction on an installment of 90210 this fall: Rumer will take on the role of Gia, a “punky, cute lesbian,” according to Access Hollywood, which first broke the story.

The character will work alongisde Navid, Adrianna and Silver at West Beverly’s student-run newspaper. Somewhere, Andrea Zuckerman is smiling.

Earlier this week, The CW announced that Hilary Duff would be appearing on Gossip Girl.

When we think of celebrity mothers who are totally in touch with reality, probably the absolute last woman we think of is Dina Lohan. Unless the reality in which we are talking about refers to reality TV, then we remember her name.

Orange Oprah’s mediocre, two-bit bitch and hoebag show, Living Lohan, only lasted a summer on E!. But, hold on, because Dina reveals that a new show might be coming our way. In a recent interview, she says: “We’re working with another network on another idea. Yeah, not reality per se, but a realistic show.”

Um, and how will that differ from Living Lohan exactly?

In the same interview with Life & Style Weekly, Dina admits that the execs at E! tried to give the show a little edge by asking her and her family to do “crazy things”, such as have Dina fake a pregnancy.

Nothing would have saved that show, except maybe having the cameras follow Lindsay around. Then again, they already do anyway and we don’t have to suffer through commercials or Dina!

Barack Obama Reacts to Michael Jackson’s Death

The world has been reeling for the past week ever since Michael Jackson passed away, and President Barack Obama offered his thoughts about the loss this day.

Talking of the “Beat It” singer’s impact on the world of popular culture, Obama stated that Jackson “will go down in history as one of our greatest entertainers.”

On the other side of the coin, though, the President also made reference to Michael’s “tragic and in many ways sad personal life.”

The fact that Barack Obama has waited an entire week to comment on Jackson’s death has stirred up some controversy amongst his supporters, especially in African American circles, though the President brushed off the criticism by telling AP White House correspondent Jennifer Loven, “Look, you’re the first person who’s actually asked me about it.”
