Will Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson be next?
When one of the Girls Next Door battles a High School Musical hottie in a celebrity fashion clash, you know it’s going to get hideous.
Or hot.
You be the judge. Here’s Ashley Tisdale, attending L.A.’s American Music Awards, and Bridget Marquardt, hitting up the Espy awards in L.A., both wearing the same sexy, glittered, $1,349 platinum frock from Mandalay.
Who wore it better: Ashley Tisdale or Bridget Marquardt?
In the latest issue of Teen Vogue, Vanessa Hudgens opens up about life after High School Musical and life with Zac Efron…
On moving on from the High School Musical franchise: “It’s sad. This is our last time doing a motion picture together, and we love each other so much. We really grew up together. We can be free when we’re around one another, and the amount of fun we have is ridiculous.”
On her personal love life with Zac Efron: “I keep my relationship quiet. I think that works.” **
Vanessa Hudgens is graduating from High School Musical.
On choosing her next project: “I don’t want to do something that messes me up mentally. I think people just don’t realize that sometimes actors can really take it in and become that person.”
On being proud of her High School Musical character: “I love that Gabriella is Hispanic. It’s nice to be able to stand up for people who don’t have someone to look up to very often.”
** Except when she’s stradding Efron for each celebrity gossip reporter within a two-mile radius to see.
Season Three of The Hills is out on DVD this week and Season Four premieres in less than a month. To commemorate both momentous occasions, the L.A. Times spoke with Audrina Patridge while she was en route to get her hair done. Really.
LAT: Is Lauren Conrad your friend?
Audrina Patridge: We live together, so yeah, we see each other a lot while the show is taping. Sometimes I see her when it’s not.
LAT: But is she your friend outside of The Hills …
Audrina Patridge: We don’t have a lot of the same friends, but we try to reserve one night a week to hang out. In the fourth season, you’ll see our fight gets cleared up. Basically, I start doing my own thing separately from her and Lo [Lauren Bosworth], and get busy. But you know, things change and friendships do drift apart. Lauren Conrad and I aren’t not friends, we’re just not as close as we used to be.
LAT: What about Lo? Do you blame moving in together with her and Lauren for the rift in your friendship?
Audrina Patridge: I do think living in that separate guest house of mine was definitely the cause of the tension between Lauren and me. We were used to being right next to each other in our apartment. I don’t really blame Lo, though. She and Lauren have been friends for a long time.
LAT: Do you think you’re portrayed accurately on The Hills?
Audrina Patridge: I think I’ve been portrayed well on the show. But it’s based on Lauren’s life, so some of the things in my life, like my friends, aren’t on the show: my personal life with my true friends and my family, me going to acting classes, shooting a motion picture. They filmed a tiny, but they can’t air everything.
LAT: What’s the biggest misconception about you?
Audrina Patridge: I don’t feel like they show me on The Hills sticking up for myself. They edit that out. I’m generally happy with how I look when it comes out. In real life, though, I’m bubbly and fun and talkative and when you see me on the show I’m always sitting there and sad. But I’m fine with it because it’s not my show. I’m there because of Lauren.
LAT: Tell us about the motion picture you just shot, a sequel to Into the Blue.
Audrina Patridge: We filmed on Oahu. Everyone was so nice and supportive. It’s so different from a reality show because I’ve lines to memorize. “The Hills” definitely helped just in terms of being in front of the cameras and being used to crews watching me. It made it a lot more comfortable on a film set. There were also a lot more people, but I felt very prepared.
LAT: Do you still work at Epic Records? Are you still looking to pursue a career in the music industry?
Audrina Patridge: I don’t work as much there as I used to. It’s definitely not how it used to be when the series started.
LAT: What’s your title there?
Audrina Patridge: You know, I don’t know my title. I help out with anything. I help out with artists every now and then, making sure they’re taken care of. I also do some A&R, listen to demos. But I’m really focusing on acting.

The Hills’ Lauren Conrad got her crunk on last night at the Key Club and, needless to say, was a tad wobbly as she staggered out da club.
But, unlike Shia LaBeouf, LC and cohort Lauren Bosworth (Lo) actually know enough to collapse into the passenger seat and get a ride …

Lauren Conrad and Lauren Bosworth might appear airheaded at times on The Hills, but they’re smart enough not to drive drunk. Lindsay Lohan, take note.

Bad news for fans of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
Star Ashley Tisdale has chosen to exit the Disney Channel series, as celebrity gossip tabloid OK! reports she’s grown exhausted of playing the role of Maddie Fitzpatrick.
A representative confirmed that production on the show has come to a halt; other stars from the program are on board a spin-off of the show, The Suite Life on Deck, but the High School Musical 3 actress won’t be a cast member.

Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham are excited to welcome their third child into the world, as the actor says a boy is due “around the third of September.”
The actor added that his fiancee “has had enough of daddy being away for work!”
Such work includes a film about Max Payne, the famous video game character that Wahlberg is bringing to the big screen in October.
Despite already have a four-year-old daughter and a two-year-old son, Wahlberg only proposed to Durham recently.
“We continue to grow in our relationship, and we have a much superior chance of succeeding and staying together now,” Wahlberg stated. “I was not prepared to be married, no matter who it was when I was 20 or 30… Committing to making it work and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation is where I’m at now.”
Marissa Jaret Winokur - formerly of Dancing with the Stars and Broadway - and husband Judah Miller, are the parents of their first child, son Zev Isaac Miller.
Winokur and Miller helped deliver the baby on Tuesday. The child was carried to term by a surrogate mother.
“He is so perfect,” Winokur stated. “My little miracle baby is here, and I can’t believe it.”
