These are indeed lean economic times.

Even The Hills star Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, who graduated with an art history degree from UCLA in June, is having trouble getting a job nowadays.

Not that unemployment doesn’t have its perks.

“I have just been hanging out by the pool,” she told Us Weekly at the Intermix VH1 Rock Honors Exclusive VIP Party in Los Angeles.

“I would love to get my own style show or something like that,” Lo stated when asked what she’d like to be doing … at some point.

In addition to scoring a degree at UCLA, Lauren Bosworth said she also found a guy, whom she declined to name. Unlike Doug Reinhardt, Lo’s man won’t be appearing on the new season of The Hills when it debuts in August.

“Being on the show conflicts with his job,” Lo said. “He works in finance.”

Anyone have a clue who Lo’s new man is? If so, help us out!
