According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jake Gyllenhaal has been tapped to play the lead role in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Walt Disney is teaming up with Jerry Bruckheimer Films on Prince of Persia, an adaptation of Ubisoft’s popular video game.

Production starts in July.

Video game adaptations have kinda sucked in the past.

We hope they break the curse this time!
